Information:
Twenty eight days is all it takes to go from everything to nothing in this eerie tale of apocalyptic horror. The end begins when a group of animal rights activists break into a primate research facility where chimps are chained before screens flashing scenes of gruesome violence. Ignoring a researcher's warnings, the activists release the chimps and are immediately attacked. Twenty eight days later...Jim (Cillian Murphy), wakes from a coma in a deserted intensive care unit. Jim wanders into London's streets, finding only desolation and worse. The world has been consumed by an incurable virus that, in seconds, sends victims into a murderous rage. Jim is met by Selina (Naomie Harris) and Mark (Noah Huntley), who mount a struggle to survive against the zombies created in the disease's harrowing aftermath.
