Information:
Kids' dreams get super(hero)-sized in this effects-heavy family adventure from Spy Kids director Robert Rodriguez. Max (Cayden Boyd) is known for his active imagination. He uses it to escape from a less-than-perfect life. Max's parents fight, and he's constantly teased by the other kids at school. One day Max's escape into fantasy becomes reality when two of his creations, Sharkboy (a boy raised by great whites!) and LavaGirl (a girl with the force of a volcano!), whisk Max out of his classroom and take him on a rescue mission to outer space. The two undersized heroes show Max that even small people can do big things. David Arquette, Kristin Davis, and George Lopez also star.
