Information:
Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) is a wannabe hockey player who's down on his luck. He's not good enough on the ice to make the team, his girlfriend dumped him, and his grandmother (who raised him) has been evicted because she didn't pay her taxes. After discovering he can drive the ball a mile, Gilmore beings playing golf in hopes of earning enough money to save his grandma's home. He earns a spot on the PGA tour, where his rowdy antics make him a crowd favorite. Gilmore's quick-found celebrity doesn't sit well with Tour champion Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald), who, jealous that he has to share the spotlight, tries everything possible to get Gilmore off the Tour. TV legend Bob Baker makes a scene-stealing cameo with a memorable on-course meltdown.
